The game of life

Look for Kansas State University climbing the league tables of student satisfaction next year after two professors continued their research into how we achieve unbroken concentration at work.

We could have told them what their results (by doing work that isn't too easy but isn't too hard) would be, and saved them the time they spent, but that would have denied the students who volunteered the chance to take part in the experiment.

The students were forced to play the game Rock Band for an hour each, to see if they could retain their concentration. Not only is this a valuable insight, but it prepares students for their future recession-era careers as amateur video game testers.
